If you haven’t checked out the first part of my exploration into the Israel-Palestine situation, I highly recommend giving it a read. We’ve already delved into how Israel is securing support in every corner and some secrets but now in this part, we’re diving deeper into the complexities of the situation.

In a heart-wrenching display of inhumane cruelty, Israel’s relentless bombing of Gaza has unleashed a torrent of destruction, leaving a trail of shattered lives and deafening silence. This unconscionable act of aggression has claimed the lives of over 12,000 innocent Palestinian souls, their dreams and aspirations mercilessly extinguished. Yet, the true toll of this tragedy remains shrouded in uncertainty, as countless children and women lie buried beneath the rubble, their voices silenced, their lives extinguished in a cruel twist of fate.

Gaza echoes with the shattered dreams of its people. It’s not just Muslims; Christians, too, bear the brunt. Since October 7, three churches have been bombed by Israel. Rewind to seven months ago, during the “Sabbath of light” celebrations in Jerusalem, Israeli forces attacked Christians.

By the English definition, the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) is labeled a terrorist organization. It’s crucial to emphasize that this characterization doesn’t apply to all Jews, but rather to a small faction of extremist individuals.

It’s disheartening to see how easily people jump to conclusions without understanding the complexities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The simplistic narrative of ‘Hamas started it’ is not only misleading but also academically inaccurate. Rewind 100 years ago, the Balfour Declaration was written and the British handed the land to the Zionists, and that’s when the Palestinian struggles kicked in. Now, when Hamas made a move, suddenly, Israel’s crowned the “victim” by civilized nations. I’m not flying a flag for Hamas, especially with the harm to innocent lives, be it women, children, or the elderly.

But this does not justify what Israel is doing. Just take a look at the October 6th. Just a day before Hamas made a move, Israeli settlers stirred chaos in Huawara, West Bank. Tragically, a 19-year-old named Dumaidi lost his life. The aftermath? A funeral procession for Dumaidi turned into chaos with Israeli forces firing tear gas, rubber-tipped bullets, and live fire. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported at least 51 injuries. It’s a vivid snapshot of the tense events leading up to the conflict, revealing a side of the story that often gets overshadowed. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/10/6/palestinian-killed-as-israeli-settlers-attack-west-bank-town-of-huwara

Hold your breath for this jaw-dropper — not only did the Israeli army forces wreak havoc in Huawara, but they went on to snatch the body of the 19-year-old Palestinian. Need proof? Check out the video on Quds News’ official Twitter page. It’s a twist in the plot that hits you right in the gut, exposing a shocking dimension to the unfolding events. https://twitter.com/QudsNen/status/1710010610946032056

Some Israel supporters argue it was originally the land of Jews, not Muslims. I’m struggling to follow their logic. I mean, rewind to history, and America belonged to Native Indians, right? Plus, a good chunk of Europe once flew the Muslim flag — Spanish, Greek, Serbian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Bosnian, Cypriot, Austrian, Polish, and Ukrainian empires, you name it. Even the entire Subcontinent rocked a Muslim vibe. So, by that logic, if Muslims decided to reclaim these lands today, they’d simply be taking back what was once theirs. And, if that’s the case, shouldn’t the world rally behind us as we reclaim what was once ours?

George Galloway, a British politician, said, “God is not a state agent” who would be divvying up land percentages for Muslims and Jews. For example, I lived in a different house some years ago so does that mean I can just go in there now, kill the kids, kick the family out, and justify my actions by saying that it was my previous home? Of course not!

It hits hard every time I tune into the Israel-Palestine debate, whether it’s Piers Morgan or any other show. They keep throwing around the same question: “Do you condemn what Hamas did?” But can’t they just open their eyes to what’s unfolding in Gaza? It’s not just a number — more than 12,000 innocent lives are gone, and thousands teetering on the brink of death.

Israel has cut off the basics: food, electricity, fuel, and water. Picture this: how are kids going to brave the winter without electricity, food and water? Let’s put the children aside for a moment and think about the tiny babies. It’s a heart-wrenching puzzle — how on earth are they going to make it through?

Imagine the agony of enduring wounds in the biting cold of winter. It’s beyond our grasp to fathom how excruciatingly painful that must be for them.

Israel can’t sweep these things under the rug, and it’s quite intriguing to notice that numerous social media influencers are rallying behind Palestine. The plot thickens when you realize Israel might be greasing the wheels, literally paying these influencers for their support. Check this out: there’s this influencer who spilled the tea, revealing a tempting $5,000 offer in his inbox.

I just don’t get why some people still support this terrible situation. Can’t they see what’s happening? Families trying to reunite are stuck. Israelis can go wherever, but Palestinians are just stuck there. Take a moment to look at this British-Palestinian girl; she’s stuck in Palestine, unable to return to the UK. It’s not just news it’s about people’s lives being put on hold. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/SJ7NUiSPRNI

The emotionally challenging reality is that Palestinians find themselves in a tough spot, sharing their land with those who’ve led them to distress. It’s not just losing their home but facing a push to erase their existence. Saying "Free Palestine" echoes a cry for liberation, justice, and dignity. It’s a plea for those who’ve endured displacement, lived without a state, and faced years of occupation. It’s about seeking justice, self-determination, and national liberation for the people of Palestine.

As we engage with the Israel-Palestine debate, let us empathize with the Palestinian narrative, recognizing the need for compassion and understanding. Supporting Palestine is not about diminishing the experiences of others but standing in solidarity with those who have borne a disproportionate burden of hardship. It’s a call to ensure that every voice is heard, every life is valued, and the pursuit of justice encompasses all. In embracing this perspective, we contribute to fostering a world where empathy prevails, and the quest for a just and equitable future unites us all.
